| Q: |
What do we need to bring for a day tour? |
A: |
Bring a warm jacket, sun-glasses, camera and a sense of humour. We supply all food and refreshments for the day. |
| Q: |
What happens if the weather is bad the day of our tour |
A: |
Where possible we re-schedule the trip but this is completely up to the client on the day. No-one enjoys a trip when you can't see anything. We contact everyone within a couple of days of their chosen tour to discuss the weather outlook and any concerns. |
| Q: |
Do we get bounced around much? |
A: |
No. We travel at a sensible speed to try and make the ride as comfortable as possible. Some terrain is pretty rough and we do rock and roll a bit but this just adds to the experience. |
| Q: |
What kind of food can we expect? |
A: |

these all have spectacular views! (Environmentally friendly long-drops!) |
| Q: |
Will we see wild animals and bird life? |
A: |
Yes. We do not stage anything though. You will see what is there on the day in its own natural environment. There are many deer, tahr, ducks and geese in the wilderness. You may even see sheep dogs at work or even sheep being shorn at times. |
| Q: |
Is the vehicle comfortable to ride in? |
A: |
All our vehicles are air-conditioned, equipped with high backed fabric seating, have great viewing windows and ride very well. |
| Q: |
Is there a limit to the group size? |
A: |
We pride ourselves on personalising our tours and usually work with individual groups. In saying this though, we have had several larger group outings including up to forty two passengers once. We ask everyone to contact us and discuss their individual requirements. |
| Q: |
Do you really know what you are doing? |
A: |
Thirty years wilderness experience and four-wheel drive operating gives us some pretty good background knowledge and understanding of the areas we take you to. |
| Q: |
On the multi day tours, what standard of accommodation is supplied? |
A: |
The accommodation ranges from very high class lodge style to shepherds huts or even tents if required. We arrange this to suit the request of the particular group at the time. |
| Q: |
Do you require a deposit? |
A: |
Yes. We usually require a ten percent deposit to confirm your booking. With the multi day tours we require the tour to be paid in full two weeks prior to departure. |
| Q: |
If the tour is cancelled do we get a refund? |
A: |
If we cancel the tour you will get a full refund. If you pull out we will talk about the circumstances surrounding your decision. |
| Q: |
On the group outings, what kind of special requests can you cater for? |
A: |
We have catered for individuals and small groups through to weddings, rugby club outings, social club outings, business groups and corporate functions. We have included helicopter flights, jet-boat trips, aeroplane flights, BBQ's, and cross country excursions. Our policy is: you make the suggestion and we will endeavour to supply the outing. |
| Q: |
Do you operate all year through? |
A: |
Yes. Some areas are only accessible during summer though and we have to work around this a bit. We have some great all weather access with magnificent scenery available. |
| Q: |
Is there any age limit for passengers? |
A: |
No. Our youngest traveller was the age of two and our most mature traveller the age of eighty seven. We do request that parents or guardians are responsible for children sixteen years or younger.
